Return and Refund
At Alex Containers, customer satisfaction is our priority. We strive to provide high-quality products and services. However, we understand that there may be instances where you need to return a product or request a refund. Below are the terms of our return and refund policy:
1. Return Eligibility
a. Standard Containers
- Non-Customized Standard Containers: You can return standard containers within 14 days of delivery, provided they are in the same condition as delivered. The container must be unused and without damage or alterations.
b. customised Containers
- Custom Orders: Containers that have been customized (e.g., with doors, windows, insulation, or any modifications) are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has started. We encourage you to carefully review all customization details before finalizing your order.
c. Damaged or Defective Products
- If your container arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will assess the issue and provide a replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
2. Return Process
a. Request a Return
- To initiate a return, contact our customer service team with your order number, details about the product, and the reason for the return.
b. Return Shipping
- The customer is responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping. If the return is due to damage or defect, we will arrange for return shipping at no cost to you.
c. Return Inspection
- Once we receive the returned container, our team will inspect it to ensure it is in its original condition. This process may take up to 7 business days.
3. Refunds
a. Refund Amount
- If the returned container is approved, we will issue a refund for the product’s purchase price, excluding the original shipping fees, unless the return is due to a damaged or defective product. Custom containers and services are non-refundable.
b. Restocking Fee
- A restocking fee of up to 15% may be deducted from your refund for non-defective standard containers.
c. Refund Method
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to process after approval.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for returns or refunds:
- Customized containers
- Containers altered by the customer after delivery
- Containers not in their original condition, including those with signs of damage, excessive wear, or alterations
5. Cancellation Policy
Standard Orders: Orders for non-custom containers can be canceled within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided the container has not yet been shipped.
Custom Orders: Custom orders cannot be canceled once production has started. Please ensure all design and customization details are correct before finalizing your order.
